NBL Drops Factory Team
In a surprise move, the National Bicycle League appears
to have dropped it's Factory Team category at national races for the
year 2000. In the past, one team was crowned the #1 Factory Team of the
year, givin' them bragging rights for the next season. Evidently, at
the Christmas Classic in Columbus, Ohio the Factory Teams stayed away
in force, only sending individual riders for the holiday event. As far
as we know, the competing sanctioning body, the American Bicycle Association
is continuing with the Factory Team category.
News
